Participation in Wind Europe 2023

The Wind Europe annual event is one of the biggest trade fairs of the wind energy industry internationally. Each year, it brings together companies and experts from the renewable energies sector, serving as an opportunity for networking between small, medium and large companies, as well as a point of connection to learn about the main trends, developments and last innovations of the industry.

This year, the event took place in Copenhaguen from April 25th to 27th. The Danish capital hosted more than 15,500 assistants and 500 companies as exhibitors, according to data offered by the organization. These figures show the event keeps growing each year, improving its numbers in comparison to the previous edition in 2022, when it reached a bit more than 9,800 assistants and 334 exhibitors.

Although SOLUTE had already attended the Wind Europe annual event in previous editions, such as the one held in 2022 in Bilbao, we had always done so as attendees. However, this year, for the first time, we decided to make the investment to participate as exhibitors with our own stand, as well as to send a specialized team composed of reference engineers and communication team members to represent the company.

At the event, we had the opportunity to share our latest developments with other companies in the renewable energies industry and showcase the utilities of some of SOLUTE’S products and services as a multidisciplinary engineering consultancy.

Among them, we were able to show assistants who visited our stand the robots from TSR Wind, our division specialized in the development of robotic solutions applied to wind farms’ maintenance. Moreover, we also showed the functioning of some of our main products: Furow, a software specialized in wind resource assessment; Aphelion, meteorological forecasting platform for the wind energy sector that allows to obtain energy production estimations; or EVE, our industrial environments virtualization services suite.

In addition to this, the event gave us the possibility to meet people from leading companies in the wind energy industry and to listen to the experts and key figures opinions over topics and developments which are essential for the sector’s future.

Undoubtedly, we have learned a lot during these three days, and we are glad events like this one keeps growing more and more each year, as they provide a great opportunity to share ideas, developments and experiences in such an innovative, thriving and globally significant field.
