The SOLUTE energy forecasting team, under its Aphelion Wind brand, participated in a technical seminar with VTC Energy, one of Turkey’s most renowned energy trading and services companies.
The seminar’s principal topic was to explain the critical role of energy forecasting capabilities for renewable asset operators, TSOs, developers, among others.
During the seminar, our team had the opportunity to explain SOLUTE’s history, relevant R+D projects, and complete solar and wind energy forecasting capabilities, highlighting the technical methodologies that set us apart in the field. In addition, the team provided a live demo of Aphelion Wind, a visualization software designed to complement and display the energy generation forecast, asset location, site-specific weather variables, O&M information, and wind turbine availability.

Aphelion Wind is an advanced visualization platform designed for renewable asset operators to seamlessly monitor wind and solar generation forecasts within a unified interface. The software is structured into three core modules:
- Entity: this initial tab provides an overview of asset locations and general information.
- Availability: this module enables operators to input and manage turbine-specific and site-wide availability data for accurate forecasting.
- Charts: offers a comprehensive view of generation forecasts, weather variables, and O&M insights, integrated with real-time weather conditions.
