Aphelion Weather 3.0 has been officially released to users worldwide and on all platforms by SOLUTE´s meteorological brand, Aphelion.
Aphelion Weather is a multi-functional weather forecast visualization platform designed for general individuals looking to plan and schedule any outdoor activity, as well as professionals in renewable energy operations and agricultural businesses. It has recently undergone its third update to further enhance the user experience. Whether users seek to plan weekend activities, holidays, or, on the other side, businesses aim to schedule O&M activities, the newly redesigned app and web-based platform will now offer more precise forecasts, improved user interfaces, and advanced features such as customizable alerts, pro mode, and detailed analytics. This ensures that all users can make informed decisions based on the most accurate and up-to-date weather information available.
In this new version, Aphelion Weather now includes:
- Availability to select a pro map and a general map, depending on the users´ needs. Pro maps allow to select advanced NWP models and in-depth variables.
- The pro map mode includes Aphelion´s own WRF model with a 3 Km resolution for the Iberian Peninsula region.
- New meteogram
- Dynamic widget (current weather and +4 days)
- An advanced and comprehensive options menu.
- Geographical positioning option.
- Ability to add the users´ favorite locations (home, work, beach, hiking routes, among others)
- For renewable energy operators: ability to save an individual asset location or portfolio locations.
- Presets to establish fixed configurations.
- General bugs fixed to enhance overall performance.
