SOLUTE acquires InterMET for enhancing its weather forecasting capabilities
SOLUTE has announced the acquisition of interMET, a company specialized in the installation and monitoring of meteorological stations, with more than two decades of experience in the sector.
The main objective of this transaction is to expand and strengthen SOLUTE’s service portfolio in the field of weather forecasting, integrating the expertise and tools developed by interMET to complement the company’s current capabilities under its forecasting services brand, Aphelion.
With a track record of over twenty years, interMET has delivered benchmark projects in areas such as atmospheric modeling, applied climatological analysis, and the implementation of early warning systems. Its solutions have supported sectors including energy, emergency management, territorial planning, and critical infrastructures, building a strong reputation for technical excellence and operational reliability.
Through this acquisition, SOLUTE reinforces its commitment to the development of advanced forecasting models, applied meteorological consultancy, and atmospheric data analysis, areas in which the company already provides high value-added solutions for sectors such as energy, engineering, and mobility. This move represents SOLUTE’s second strategic acquisition following the purchase of TSR Wind in 2022, further expanding its service portfolio in the operation and maintenance domain.
