ICCI 2012 fair in Turkey

This year, the most important renewable energy fair of Turkey will take place on different dates than usual.

While last edition took place on June, days 15th, 16th and 17th, this edition is brought forward almost two months days 25th, 26th and 27th April. Hence, the fair is placed on the calendar between fairs of New Energy, in Husum, and Genera, international fair of energy and environment, in Madrid.

Besides introducing itself as a platform enabling the establishment of new contacts and holding commercial meetings, ICCI´s goal is to inform about the present of Turkish energetic industry through the multiple conferences organized.

As we said in a previous post, fair ICCI2011 was our entry door to Turkish market.

Figures of ICCI 2011

Last edition overcame 12.000 visitors, out of which 24% were foreigners. It is a fair with a clear private profile as 81% of visitors belong to private industry opposite to a 10% of public industry. Press and academic institutions completed visitors’ profiles of the fair.

About the number of exhibitors, percentages of foreign and local exhibitors were the same than in 2010, being 47% Turkish exhibitors and 53% foreign exhibitors. Total exhibitors amounted up to 217. There were 22 different nationalities represented being USA, Czech Rep. and Denmark the countries with highest number of exhibitors.

Analyzing statistical figures of the fair in past editions, and taking into account that fairs specialized in specific industries are a good indicator of the progress of that industry in the hosting country, states the conclusion that measures adopted by the Turkish government are aiming for the promotion of the energetic industry making it more attractive globally.

This year we will visit the fair again, to consolidate contacts done in previous trips to Turkey and to initialize new contacts with companies interested in our services, having as a goal consolidate ourselves as a reference in consulting engineering services in Turkish market.

Despite of our tight agenda, we are willing to attend any meeting proposed. In future registers we will inform about progress and running of this edition and good results we hope to get derived of the fair.
